A schoolteacher from Bridport was guest of honour at Baker Estates’ show home launch at its new development, Palmers Meadow.
Joss Waterfall joined Baker Estates’ Managing Director Ian Baker and Head of Sales Annie Williams to cut the ribbon to officially declare the Honeysuckle show home open for visitors.
Having been the first buyer to reserve at the development when it started selling off plan, Joss was delighted to accept the invitation from the award winning South West housebuilder.
Joss said: “I feel very privileged to be asked to open the Palmers Meadow show home. I was treated like a VIP and was very impressed by everything I saw.”
Joss was given a tour of the four-bedroom Honeysuckle and presented with a bouquet of flowers.
“I remember reserving back in the sales cabin in January and walking into the office and saying: ‘I want one!’ There was no doubt in my mind.”
Joss added: “I moved to Bridport a while ago and having been living in rented accommodation while I waited for the right new home for me. I had my heart set on a new home. I didn’t want a second hand property that needed work – I just don’t have the time!
“I have reserved a two-bedroom house with a beautiful view of West Bay. I’m looking forward to moving into my home at the end of the November.
Joss added: “Baker Estates has done a wonderful job. Palmers Meadow has everything: the homes are modern and stylish and have real curb appeal. Inside they are very cleverly designed, spacious and the interior design is stunning.”
Palmers Meadow is a collection of 33 luxury two, three and four bedroom homes and it’s the first time interested buyers have been able to see the design and quality at the development. A number of homes have been sold off plan and now Baker Estates are seeing a considerable amount of interest from locals as well as people living in the surrounding Dorset area.
This development is not only situated close to the town centre of Bridport with its wide selection of shops and restaurants, but also to West Bay and the Jurassic Coast.
Ian Baker, Managing Director at Baker Estates, said: “We were delighted Joss could join us at our Palmers Meadow show home opening. This is a major milestone for everyone associated with the build and we are very pleased with the feedback received over the weekend.
It is now the perfect opportunity for potential buyers to see the Honeysuckle, a fabulous four-bedroom home with a beautiful master bedroom and a great kitchen with separate utility. The show home is open Thursday – Monday, 10am – 5pm.
Prices start at Palmers Meadow from £349,995.
