Baker Estates is proud to launch its Big Charity Bag Initiative, an internal campaign encouraging staff to donate unwanted clothing items to support Rowcroft. As part of the company’s 10th anniversary community initiatives, this effort reflects Baker Estates’ ongoing commitment to support the local community.
Employees across the business were invited to contribute pre-loved clothing, and more than 20 bags were collected from Baker Estates’ head office. The donations were then delivered to Rowcroft’s depot in Torquay to be sorted and distributed to its charity shops, where they will be sold to help fund the hospice’s essential care services for people with life-limiting illnesses.
Deputy Managing Director Graham Hutton expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative, saying: “As we celebrate our 10th anniversary, we want to continue making a meaningful impact in the communities where we live and work.
“Our Big Charity Bag Initiative is a simple yet effective way for our team to support Rowcroft Hospice, an organisation that does incredible work for many families. The response from our staff has been fantastic, and we’re proud to be contributing to such a worthy cause.”

Baker Estates is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year by raising over £10,000 for Rowcroft charity and hosting a series of community events throughout 2025. Every donation will be greatly appreciated.
