This week, Baker Estates Site Manager Robin Palmer has downed tools and entered the world of retirement.
Robin has enjoyed a very successful career with a number of housebuilders, with the final six years at Baker Estates where he has been an integral part of the Construction Team, driving for excellence in all he does.
Robin has overseen the delivery of hundreds of homes at Baker Estates to the highest standard at Greenhill in Kingsteignton and at Hayne Farm in Honiton.
Robin’s success has been truly reflected in his impressive collection of awards. Winning a total of three Pride in the Job Awards and two Seal of Excellence Awards in the six years he has worked at Baker Estates.
Robin is universally liked and respected by everyone from the Baker Estates team to contractors in the industry. He has always managed his developments in a controlled and coordinated way.
Ian Baker, Managing Director of Baker Estates, said: “I have known and worked with Robin for many years, and he is undoubtedly the best Site Manager that I have had the pleasure to work with.
“He has played a pivotal role in the growth of Baker Estates, in terms of delivering high-quality homes and developing a culture that focuses on honesty, integrity and a can-do attitude.”
“As much as I wish Robin could continue working long into the future, I am equally delighted that he heads into retirement with his lovely wife Suzanne, and I’m sure that he will be no stranger to Baker Estates’ social functions in the future!”
Everyone at Baker Estates wishes Robin and Suzanne a very long and happy retirement!
