The Kingsbridge show is celebrating its 143 anniversary and its 70th birthday at Borough Farm, its current location.
The Show was first held at Borough Farm [its current site] in 1954 by kind permission of the Smaridge Family and a celebration of 70 years is likely to be a major feature of the 2024 event. Much has changed in farming during that period but the show remains a popular attraction to both locals and visitors to the area.
There are many commercial trade stands, a craft marquee as well as a food and drink tent where exhibitors offer a variety of locally produced foods to create your own picnic. A variety of catering outlets offer a splendid choice and visitors can sit and enjoy the main ring entertainment whilst savouring the atmosphere of live music and entertainment from a family dog show, terrier racing, classic cars and vintage tractor displays.
