Plans for 20 new homes in Seaton have been approved. Baker Estates will build the homes on Barnards Hill, including five affordable properties.
The development will appeal to family buyers thanks to a range of three and four bedroom semi-detached and detached houses. These will be complimented with three four bedroom chalet bungalows, perfect for those looking to downsize.
Located to the northern edge of the town, the development is ideally located for convenient access to the town centre as well as the A3052 for onward travel to nearby Lyme Regis and Sidmouth.
Ian Baker, Managing Director of Baker Estates, said:
“This superb result is a reflection of our high-quality plans and we can’t wait to get started on this fantastic new development in Seaton. We spent considerable time consulting the local community to make sure our new homes would be a positive addition to the town. They have been sensitively designed to blend in with Seaton’s architectural heritage, with attractive landscaped communal spaces also featuring throughout the development.”
Sharon Holder, Sales and Marketing Director at Baker Estates, added:
“Construction will commence shortly with a sales launch this autumn. Seaton is such a beautiful town, so we are expecting significant demand for these homes. If you want to register your interest and be the first to receive information on launch dates and pricing, give us a call!”
Baker Estates has plans to deliver up to 300 new homes a year by 2019 and the Barnards Hill site is the company’s second development in Seaton. Construction work is already underway for 36 new homes on Rowan Drive, which received planning consent in March 2017.
