Baker Estates has announced its sponsorship of the Callington Bowls Club with the new partnership underpinning its continued support of local sports clubs in the south west.
As part of this sponsorship, Baker Estates will provide a donation to the Club to enhance its facilities and encourage participation among all age groups. The sponsorship aims to boost the club's profile and ensure it continues to be a thriving hub for local sports enthusiasts.
The award-winning housebuilder is currently building a new development in the town and two residents, who have bought at Meadowbrook, also bowl at the club.
"We are delighted to support Callington Bowls Club," said Annie Williams, Sales and Marketing Director at Baker Estates. "The club has a rich history and plays a vital role in bringing the community together. By sponsoring the club, we hope to contribute to its ongoing success and encourage more people to take up and enjoy the sport of bowls. It's also lovely to hear that two of the club members have already bought new homes at our new development in the town."
The Callington Bowls Club, established in 1924, has been a cornerstone of the community for nearly a century. The club offers a welcoming environment for players of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned competitors.
"We are incredibly grateful to Baker Estates for their sponsorship," said Bill Rowan, Chairman of Callington Bowls Club. "This partnership will allow us to make improvements to our facilities and provide an even better experience for our members and visitors."
The sponsorship deal will also see Baker Estates' branding featured prominently at the club, including on signage and promotional materials. This visibility will not only highlight Baker Estates' commitment to community involvement but also support the club in attracting new members and visitors.
